Christine Liu-Perkins was born in Boston and grew up near Kansas City. Reading has always been one of Christine's favorite things to do, and after her daughters were born, she started writing fiction and nonfiction for children as well as magazine articles for grown-ups. 

A big influence for Christine is having visited many parts of the world, including more than 36 states and 39 countries on 6 contents. She now lives in Colorado and travels to new places as much as she can.
